Happy Monday! I hope that everyone is doing well. I know that for many of us the end of the school semester is approaching. Be encouraged! As you begin to study and prepare for finals pray for wisdom. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” I did exactly what this scripture told me to do, and God heard my prayer.
Let me tell you all how good God is. Due to my work schedule I was forced into a few online courses. I really do like online classes. You can take them at your own speed and turn in your homework at just about any point in the semester. They are great, but this one class was a struggle. It was an online math course. Now, math drives me crazy. I think everyone knows that, but math online is another type of crazy. All year I was passing the homework, but the tests were pretty much a lost cause. I was stressed. I had one more test that could make or break my grade. I was even satisfied with taking a “C” at this point, and anyone who knows me knows I do not do “C’s”.
Before going into that test I prayed, and while taking the test I prayed some more. I felt so confident for the first time ever. I remembered most questions from the homework and I knew that had to be God. After finishing up the test I felt good, real good. I emailed my professor a few days later asking him if I had passed. I got a B on the test and now I have a “B-” in the class. THAT IS GOD! GOD IS FAITHFUL! I cried reading that email. Then on top of that, I do not have to take the final. God answers prayers!
Be in prayer as you are finishing up your semester. If you are struggling in a course, pray for wisdom and believe God to give it to you. I have no idea how I ended up with a “B-” in this class. I was praying that I could make it to a “C”, but God is faithful. Pray, and do your best then watch God do the rest. Be encouraged!
