God Is Faithful!

Often times in life, we forget to thank God for the little things. I’m talking about the air that we breathe, the food on our tables, and the ability to move our limbs. God is always busy at work and we must recognize that no matter what, He is always working on our behalf. I just thought I would share a little testimony with you.

Thursday, November 16th I woke up extremely hungry. I did not have time to eat before work and I was so frustrated. When I arrived to my desk, I sat down and my co-worker came in right behind me. She had stopped at Panera and grabbed me breakfast too. When my supervisor asked about his breakfast she told him that I was like another child of hers. That is God! That is favor. Only God can allow people to love you and gravitate towards you. Then on Friday, November 17th, I walked into the office, hungry again of course. My co-worker who sits in front of me was reading through her emails. She said, “Jackie, what does OOTO mean?” I informed her that it meant our manager would be out of the office today. She replied by telling me that I was in luck, because she had bought him breakfast so I could have it. You can not tell me that God is not faithful. Not only did He provide breakfast, but He provided me with the very food that I would have ordered if purchasing it myself. That is favor.

Those blessings were unwarranted, but wait there is more. On Friday night I ended up going to campus to hang out with one of my homegirls. She was headed to get food so I decided to order me something too. I had never eaten from there, but this time I was like you know what let me try something new. Do you know that after I placed my order I could not find my debit card? I am at the counter digging through my purse like a madwoman. The cashier said to me, “You can’t find your card? No worries! I will swipe for you.” GOD IS FAITHFUL! I ate two meals for free on yesterday just because God loves and favors me.

Proverbs 3:3-4 says, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” What God is saying here is that when you love unconditionally, and you are faithful and willing to let God use you He will take care of you. Be encouraged and continue to delight yourselves in the Lord!
